The program committee of the ASSC28 welcomes submissions of abstracts on any topic relevant to the scientific study of consciousness.

All submissions will undergo peerreview by two independent raters on the basis of relevance to the aims of the ASSC and scientific quality. Scientific quality for empirical work refers to: clarity of the aims, soundness of methodology, clarity of results, soundness of conclusions. Scientific quality for theorerical work refers to: conceptual rationale, robustness of theoretical argument, significance for theory, soundness of conclusions.

All submissions will be considered for poster presentation during coffee breaks and designated poster presentation times. Submissions with highest scores will be prioritized for talks, unless a preference for “Poster only” presentation has been indicated.Talks refer to oral presentations taking place within 15-minute slots including Q&A, happening concurrently with other oral presentation sessions.

Participants can have only one submission as a first author (presenter), but they may be co-authors on more than one submission. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words (with references of own style included).
